Founded by Erika Huber in honor of her husband, Marc Huber, The Huber Project was created to carry forward Marc's lifelong belief in the transformitive power of education. Marc firmly believed that every individual could benefit from educational growth and opportunity, and that an educated, empowered society creates stronger communities and a better future for everyone.

The mission of The Huber Project is to expand access to the individualized resources, education, and opportunities people need to discover their strengths, develop their potential, and build meaningful and fulfilling lives.

The organization supports individuals through:

Individual education pathways designed around each person's strengths, interests, goals, and learning needs.

Meaningful employment opportunities that promote independence, purpose, and long-term stability.

Job training and career development to help individuals pursue sustainable careers.

Mental health and well-being support that encourages resilience, confidence, and personal growth.

At the heart of The Huber Project is the belief that every individual has unique strengths and potential. By providing personalized guidance, education, support, and opportunities. The organization seeks to help people recognize their abilities, build confidence, overcome barriers, and transition toward sustainable and fulfilling careers.

Speaker Addressing Audience
Parental Guidance Seminar

This parent-focused talk explains what families need to know when transitioning a student with an IEP or 504 Plan from high school to college. Parents will learn the key differences between high school and college disability services, including the shift from school-provided support to a student-driven process.

The presentation will cover how to document a student’s disability and accommodations, what information colleges may require, how to connect with the college’s disability/accessibility services office, and how to request accommodations before classes begin. It will also address common misconceptions about “transferring” an IEP or 504 Plan and explain why accommodations do not automatically carry over to college.

Most importantly, parents will learn how to help their students develop the self-advocacy, communication, and organizational skills they need to take responsibility for their accommodations. The talk will provide practical guidance for starting the transition early, communicating effectively with colleges, and setting students up for a successful and more independent college experience.

Meet Erika Huber

I am driven by a passion for learning. I am convinced that knowledge is the gateway to a brighter future.

I feel privileged to help unlock these doors to career and educational fulfillment. I offer people someone who will believe in them, push them, connect them with resources, and understand that real-life obstacles can get in the way of learning and achieving a dream. I take pleasure in creating programming that addresses those needs, as well as helping people realize they are worthy of options in life to overcome these obstacles and achieve their goals.
